Redbush Concert
For the Redbush (Bushmills) TV campaign, everything was authentically Irish, including Kid Karate, the small punk band we found for the music.
On a whim, our creative director thought it would be fun to bring the band over for a St. Patty’s show in Brooklyn. So I contracted the band and with help from Vice, produced my first concert @ St. Vitus. We even managed to get them on our Vice Live TV show.
The show was so much fun, Noisey, Vice, Virtue, and Bushmills all decided to blow it out and 6 months later we did a 10 city tour and made a little documentary about punk rock through the eyes of a young band.
